The only one I finished. Didn't like it first, but like many people, I ended up thinking it was genius. Anyone dealing with addiction should read it. And not only. It deals with the need of strength to overcome your own fears and weaknesses, in order to achieve anything worthwhile. I like the way Gandalf went on another level, too.

A Game of Thrones is just the first book from fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by G.R.R.Martin. While much has been said about various historical and fictional influences on Martin's work, I believe it to be the best fantasy novel ever. The way how carefully each character is written and how all the in-story universe is created is simply awesome.

The only book that I read from this list is the Chronicles of Narnia , C.S. Lewis. Definitely a book for children, the elderly already so it does not impress. Filming was OK, the first part of probably the best.

One of my favorite books ever! I've seen all movies several times and read the books twice. Very interesting stories, great characters, once you start reading the book it's impossible to let it down before you finish it. I wish there was at least one more book in the future..

For me Lord of the Rings.

Gandalf the White vs Saruman: the ultimate face-off.

And of course special mention goes to Gollum and his ring of rings, "his precious". The ring to rule them all.

I would love to get my hands on that ring. I would change the world. I would change the internet.

I would even change my face. Muhaha!

This novel turn many young and adults into craze. Especially when they made this into a movie. The book novels and movie tickets are all sold out. But for me I'm not really a fun of this movie but out of curiosity I watched this movie just to know what the story is all about.

Game of Thrones (GOT) is the most amazing novel and movie series for me. Though I also read and watched Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia, GOT just surpass the both of them. After reading the first book or after watching the first episode of the movie series, you will get addicted to the story and won't be able to wait for the next episode to come.

I can't really pick but because I also like Lord of the rings trilogy. Its really good movie and very historic. But I chose to Harry Potter because I like Harry Potter too and its amazing that they have another series. I hope that Daniel Radcliffe had not quit as the main cast of HP J.K. Rowling because I really wanted to see how Harry Potter cast that spell again!

I love chronicles of Narnia. I vaguely remember the story, but I remember when the most popularly cinema in Nigeria was advertising the dates when it would be shown. The trailer got me at first view. Although I didn't get to watch it then, I came across the book some years later while at a friends. I didn't drop it till I finished it. It was such an experience.

I love harry Potter, its series, I read all the books and watched the movies, it was so great even if it will be repeated so many times, I will make double think to watch it because of its very unique story.
I came to the point that I am making spells, the magic tricks and make some design for jacket.

Harry Potter is by far the best novel ever adapted into movies/film. Without even much ado, I chose it, I would have chosen Lord of The Ring bit it ain't up to that of Harry Potter. The novel alone catapulted the author into an automatic billionaire and that is a testament of how great the film novel is.

I was huge Harry Potter fan. I read and have all books except this one last play script.
I was satisfied with saga before that last part. It had finished and that was it. It's look like that money from Harry Potter franchise stopped to come so she had to write something more to continue the money dripping and that is what disappointed me. People are greedy and i hate that.

The lord of the rings is my best pick. The movie got me thinking on how creative humans can be. The graphics too is very beautiful and the behind the scene set made it a masterpiece. In the movie, I can see how powerful a ring can be and how trust van be betrayed for selfish gain.

This saga caught a public that perhaps did not imagine being trapped by the young magician, created for the youngsters to capture children and adults, magical, fanciful, and spectacular in the way the story was told.

This is the only Fantasy movie that we watch together by my wife that's why this one is my favorite. It is also the first time I've seen my wife get interested in this kind of movies. She like the story and the fight scenes.

Although the two titles that appear in this survey are poorly written, undoubtedly the king of the fantasy genre of all time has been Tolkien with his works on Middle Earth. It is astonishing how meticulous of his descriptions, the defined characters and the vibrant plots of the struggle for power between good and evil.
